Businesses and organizations reap many benefits from a membership in the Neillsville Area Chamber of Commerce. They include:

Marketing & Advertising:

  • Website Business Listing – Enhance your web presence through your categorized listing on the Chamber website. Go above and beyond standard contact info by uploading photos, coupons, menus, brochures, video clips, etc.
  • Website Advertising – Promote your business through an ad on the Chamber website. Call the Chamber Office for pricing.
  • Celebrate a Milestone – Host a ribbon cutting to recognize a grand opening or ground breaking. We’ll promote and assist with the event, as well as coordinate with local media for coverage.
  • Newsletter Article – Share what’s new and exciting in your business and we’ll write an article or feel free to take pen in hand, write an article, and submit it for publication.
  • Member to Member Advertising – Sponsor a Chamber newsletter and we’ll publish an article about your business, plus include a full page promotional insert (single or double-sided). Call the Chamber Office for pricing.
  • Chamber Gift Certificates – Sign up to accept Chamber gift certificates at your business. Over $70,000 worth of gift certificates are distributed in an average year, all of which represents sales revenue in the pockets of Chamber members.
  • Relocation & Recruitment Packets – Provide business cards, coupons, brochures, or flyers for packets that will be handed out to new Neillsville residents or professionals seeking employment in the community.
  • Membership Lists & Labels – Request a copy of the Chamber members’ list in electronic format or as printed mailing labels and contact members directly to promote your products and services. These items are free to members.
  • Literature Display – Members have the opportunity to display brochures, flyers, and business cards in the Chamber lobby free of charge.

Networking:

  • Business After 5 – Traditionally held seven months of the year on the third Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m., these events bring business professionals together to socialize and network. Hosting and sponsorship opportunities are available.
  • Business Marketing Kaffee Klatsch – This informal group meets the third Wednesday of each month from 8:00-9:00 a.m. to share ideas about marketing strategies.
  • Recognition Banquet – This popular annual event provides an opportunity for Chamber members to honor each others’ achievements.
  • Leadership Team Positions – In November of each year, Chamber members are encouraged to step forward and apply for open Board of Director or Ambassador positions.

Events & Community Initiatives:

  • Home & Business Expo – Members have an opportunity to expand their market through a display of their products and services.
  • Dairy Breakfast – This event is hosted by the Chamber to recognize the vital role of agriculture in the local economy and promote positive relations between business and the agricultural community.
  • Shop Local 30 – This campaign promotes the concept of shopping local and reinforces the connection between the health of local business and the health of the community.

Educational Opportunities:

  • Seminars – The Chamber joins forces with community partners to provide educational opportunities for members. One of the most recent was a series of Lunch ‘n Learns sponsored by UW-Extension.
  • Courses – The Chamber recognizes the vital role continuing education plays in business growth and development. A recent example involved a partnership with Chippewa Valley Technical College, which resulted in the Small Business Tip Series that focused on utilizing marketing principles to grow your business.
